Introduction:

The Masterclass Slideline M series is a selection of wall units which utilise a sliding door feature. They come complete with pre-installed LED spot lighting with PIR sensor and glass shelving.

The unit is available in heights from 288mm to 720mm and widths from 1000mm to 2000mm. Units can also be connected together should it be required.

The following pages will show important points to be aware of when planning this unit, followed by fitting instructions to help assemble the unit.

As the Slideline M is fitted with an LED spot light system with PIR sensor and driver as standard, please ensure there is a suitable mains (240v) power supply available for the installation.

Please be aware this unit is supplied partially built. Please ensure that you have prepared an area large enough for the assembly process.

Safety Notice:

Be aware that assembled units can be heavy. We recommend two person handling during assembly of this product.

Due to the size of the completed units it is suggested that it is assembled in an area as close as possible to the final installation location.

Ensure the intended assembly area is clear of trip hazards and that pets and young children are at a safe distance.

During assembly use a soft object such as a blanket to rest panels on to prevent damage to the show surfaces.

Step 1 - Mounting Inner Cabinets:

Using suitable expanding wall fasteners fix the mounting plates (x4) ensuring the spacing dimensions and level are correct to hang the cabinets.

Hang the cabinets one at a time and adjust the the mounting brackets so that the cabinets are perfectly level and the sides (cheeks) of the cabinets are parallel and touching.

There should be no steps or gaps between the adjoining edges. when properly adjusted.

Lock the brackets in place as outlined below.

1 - Height Adjustment Screw

To align both cabinets vertically use this screw. Clockwise lifts the cabinet and anti-clockwise lowers it.

Step 2 - Fitting Shelves:

Using the supplied shelf pegs, push-fit into the pre-drilled holes in the areas circled below. Fit the pegs at the desired height - all must be at the same level for each individual shelf.

When fitting shelves, ensure they are located correctly, inside the shelf pegs and not rested on top.

See below:

Step 3 - Fitting Outer Wrap Panels:

The outer wrap panels are cut to size for each order.

Uneven fitting surfaces may require the wrap panels to be scribe cut to ensure correct alignment at the front of the assembly.

Before fitting the outer wrap panels please take note of the details below.

The panels should be identified as top or bottom. If they are not identified as such they can be identified by the type of rail inserts.

As shown below the longer rail inserts identify the bottom panel and the small (short) inserts identify the top panel.

Assembly

We recommend fitting the two side panels first (A). Using 1¼” x 8 screws. These should be fastened through the inner cabinet into the outer wrap panel. They should be centred against the side panels of the interior units, leaving a 19mm overlap top and bottom.

When fitting the top and underside panel the front faces of these panels MUST be vertical when a level is placed against both of them simultaneously. This is to ensure the door running rails are also vertical to enable them to operate smoothly.
