7.43 - Solva Natural Oak

Door composition:

Square solid Oak wide frame door with 105mm wide stiles and rails that have chamfered moulding to their inside edge around a flat oak veneered centre panel. V joint detail to the frame. Drawer fronts are slab design and are all solid oak.

Material Compostion:

Solva Natural Oak’ is, as its name suggests, made from a Solid Oak frame and veneered oak centre panel. 140mm and 175mm drawer fronts are made from solid oak and could be made combining two pieces of solid timber jointed to form its width. The Oak used is generally selected to be ‘clean’ of knots and defects but will vary in colour and grain pattern from door to door and indeed between specific pieces within a door. No stain or colour is added to the natural lacquer applied to the door during its finishing. The aim of the lacquer is to enhance and promote the natural beauty of the wood and not hide the fact that each door is made from pieces of Oak from different trees! Accessories such as Cornice; panels; pilasters etc are made from veneered MDF and the Oak veneer used on these items can also vary in colour and grain pattern. Some will be wide grained, others narrow and plain in pattern. The entire kitchen set of components are designed to complement, not match each other and as such collectively provide a completely natural and characteristic mix of colour; pattern and beauty. Varying colour; grain pattern and medullary rays should not be seen as defects within this product as they are deliberate characteristics of the product.
